Northwest Eye Center is pleased to offer a wide range of optometric services, eye care products including eyeglasses, specialty eyewear, frames, and contact lenses. Our staff is happy to help however we can.

Dr. Devin Davis, O.D.

Dr. Devin Davis, O.D.

Dr. Davis started working part-time at the Northwest Eye Center in October 2010. During that time he was also a commissioned officer for the United State Public Health Service and was stationed on the Pine Ridge reservation where he worked for Indian Health Services. Dr. Davis purchased the practice in October 2011 from Dr. Jim Dickey.

Dr. Davis graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1991. He worked in private practice optometry for 17 years before joining the USPHS. He worked for clinics in Colorado and Wyoming before moving to Chadron. Dr. Davis did his undergrad work at Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming and at the University of Wyoming in Laramie.

Dr. Davis loves private practice because of the diversity of his patients and the ability to be involved in all areas of eye care. He has been involved in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease, including glaucoma, for over 20 years. He is also experienced in fitting most types of contact lenses including bifocal and scleral lenses. Dr. Davis is an auxiliary staff member of the Chadron Community Hospital and is available for after-hour, emergent eye care. The Northwest Eye Center also works together with most eye surgeons in the area and is able to provide post-operative care right in Chadron.

Dr. Davis’ is married to Kim who works as a para-educator for the Chadron Public Schools. Kim has been involved in coaching for 20+ years and has coached volleyball, basketball and track. She is the head volleyball coach at Hay Springs High School. His oldest son, Brandon, is working and living in Casper, Wyoming. Tyler, his middle son, teaches and coaches at Sterling High School in Colorado. His daughter, Maaryn, graduated from Sheridan College with her associates and is now attending Chadron State College seeking a degree in Social Work.

Outside of the office, Dr. Davis is involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is an elder at Ridgeview Bible Church. Whenever he gets the time, he also likes to hunt and fish.

Kim Diehl

Dr. Jordyn Stevens, O.D

Jordyn Stevens, O.D. is a Chadron native and recently returned to the area after graduating with honors from Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry in 2018. Before attending optometry school Dr. Stevens graduated as valedictorian of Chadron High School and worked as an intern for Dr. Davis while attending Chadron State College. While attending optometry school, Dr. Stevens served as class president and received multiple academic honors.

Dr. Stevens is excited to return to her hometown and begin practicing in the area she loves. Dr. Stevens is looking forward to providing full scope medical optometry including diabetic care, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Her special areas of interest include specialty contact lens fits and serving the special needs population. Dr. Stevens is also available for after-hours emergency care.

In her spare time, she helps out at her boyfriend’s ranch, plays with Ace the red heeler, and spends time doing various outdoor activities with her family.

Mark Dannar

Mark has been with the Northwest Eye Center since 2006. He is involved in many aspects of the practice but his main area of expertise is in our optical where he edges and finishes most of the glasses made onsite. He works with our frame companies to make sure we have a great selection of frames available for all ages. Mark also works as an optometric assistant for Dr. Davis. He is involved in pre-testing patients and is trained to utilize our state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.

Mark is married to Jodi who is in charge of the radiology department at the Chadron Community Hospital. He enjoys his dogs (all three of them) and loves to spend time working in the yard or camping.

Kim Diehl

Kim joined the Northwest Eye Center team in February of 2013. She moved to Chadron from Wheatland, Wyoming where she previously worked for Dr. Davis. Kim plays many roles in her position with the practice. She works as an assistant for Dr. Davis, preparing patients for their exam. Kim is primarily involved with coding and billing insurance. She also has an eye for fashion and does a great job helping patients pick out just the right frame.

Kim is married to Robbie Diehl who works as a custodian at Chadron State College. They both enjoy motorcycles and the outdoors.

Kaityln Watson

Kaityln Watson joined the Northwest Eye Center in the Spring of 2020. She is the middle daughter of Ray and Tonya Watson. She has two brothers and two sisters. Kaitlyn enjoys the outdoors and music. She is also very involved in her church. Kaitlyn does a little of everything at our office but spends most of her time assisting our doctors with patient care. Kaitlyn is a very kind person and this is reflected through the caring attitude she shows every patient that walks in or calls our office. We are glad to have Kaitlyn as part of our staff!
